What is required to book a session?

A $50 deposit is required at time of booking and is included in session price. Remainder session fees are due on or before your session. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Where are you based and do you travel? What about location fees?

I am located in Lafayette. Travel fees apply to any location outside of Lafayette and is determined by mileage. The client is responsible for location fees if a location is chosen that charges a fee.

When will we get our photos?

Within approximately 2-3 weeks from your session you will receive your images through a password protected online viewing gallery. Through the gallery, you will have access to download your photos as high-resolution files. You will receive the gallery via an email including all instructions for downloading, as well as recommendations and suggestions for printing. Rush editing is available with a $150 upcharge.

What if it rains?

All weather-related cancellations will be automatically rescheduled and is at the discretion of the photographer. If the session is rescheduled your deposit will be applied to the new session date.

What is the best time frame for newborn portraits?

Newborns sessions are best scheduled while you are pregnant to reserve your date. I photograph newborns between 5-12 days of age. It is never too early to book your newborn session.

Do you provide props needed for the newborn session and what do you suggest we where for our newborn session?

I provide all props, baskets, swaddles, wraps and headbands needed for newborn sessions. If parents/siblings are joining in the newborn session I suggest neutral tones like whites, creams, beige, light blues or soft pinks. These colors photograph really well and do not take away from your newborn.
